1. Install the app
Install Scalez Barcode Importer from the Shopify App Store, then approve the requested permissions (read and write access to products) so the app can match and update barcodes on your existing catalog.
2. Prepare your CSV
Export your product list from Shopify (Products → Export), then add or correct a Barcode column with the UPC/EAN/GTIN for each variant.
3. Run the import
Upload your CSV inside the app. Scalez Barcode Importer will match rows to existing products by SKU, flag any missing or duplicate barcodes, and show you a preview before writing anything back to your store.
4. Review and confirm
Check the preview screen for warnings, then confirm the import. Changes apply directly to your Shopify product variants.
